About Me

Welcome to North Star Counseling! I’m Anne Witteman, a dually-licensed mental health and substance use clinician in Fargo, ND. I have over a decade of experience helping people find their way to themselves, and I would be honored to help you find your way back to you.

Styles of therapy I use include IFS, cognitive behavioral, somatic, motivational interviewing, DBT, trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and ERP. I believe that you are the expert on you, and as part of your process, would help create a tailored approach that best fits who you are. Similar to the purpose of the North Star, my goal is to help guide you to who you want to become.

I am LGBTQIA2S+ affirming and provide a casual yet comfortable atmosphere during the therapy process.

In my free time, I like to play video games, take dance classes, and spend time with my husband and our dog.
